The Nissan Quest RE52 BSD Radar Warning System is a dedicated blind-spot detection solution designed to enhance safety for 2011–2017 Quest RE52 models. Two mmWave radars are mounted on the rear bumper to monitor the area behind and to the side of your vehicle, detecting moving objects within a warning zone and delivering timely alerts that help you make safer lane changes.
When a moving object enters the defined warning area (3 to 10 meters behind the side of your car), the system activates a clear alert in your chosen display mode. The same-side turn signal can light up, the corresponding LED flares, or a three-tone audible prompt can sound, giving you decisive cues to react and avoid potential collisions during busy highway merges or tight traffic cycles.
Two mainstream display options ensure a seamless fit with your interior style: a lens display with the prompt light mounted on the lens, or an in-car display where the warning light appears on the triangular window inside the vehicle. The system is English-language friendly with OSD Language set to English, making setup and operation straightforward for global users.

Warnings / Reminders
- Radar signals cannot penetrate metal and are easily interfered by fluorescent lights. Confirm during installation: the rear bumper must be plastic, and there must be no metal interference directly in front of the radar sensor (signal emission surface).
- The radar sensor (signal emission surface) must not be installed facing a fluorescent lamp.
- Calibration and proper alignment are required for accurate detection; professional installation and setup are recommended.
- Universal LED installation locations vary by vehicle; for special products, LED lights may be installed in the blind area rear-view or A-pillar area as specified.
