Introducing the Jeep Compass MK49 BSD Radar Warning System with Blind Spot Detection — a precise, forward-thinking blind-spot helper designed for safer lane changes. This system uses two 24G/72G Hz mmwave radars mounted on the rear bumper to monitor moving objects within 3 to 10 meters of the rear side. When a vehicle or object enters your blind spot, the LED indicator lights illuminate to alert you, and the system can trigger the same-side turn signal, rapid LED flashing, or a three-tone audible prompt to warn you before you merge. It’s a practical upgrade for drivers who want extra visibility and confidence on daily commutes and highway driving, especially in busy traffic or adverse weather.

Two mainstream display options provide flexible integration with your Jeep Compass MK49 2007–2017. Choose lens display with the prompt light installed on the sensor lens, or opt for in-car display with a warning light shown on the triangular window inside the vehicle. If you supply your original mirrors, our engineers can customize the laser warning light pattern to match your mirrors, while the product price remains unchanged.

Designed for real-world driving, this BSD system offers robust performance across a wide range of speeds and conditions. It supports customization, responds to lane-changing maneuvers, and enhances awareness of approaching vehicles in blind spots. All electronic and mechanical equipment, devices and machines sold by InterCyprus to EU countries are CE certified and carry a two year warranty.

Language support: English (OSD Language).

Trust statement: Providing quality and trusted service since 2002 at intercyprus.com.

Warnings/Reminders

  • Probe installation and calibration: Radar signals cannot penetrate metal and are easily interfered by fluorescent lights. During installation, confirm the following: the rear bumper is plastic, there is no metal interference directly in front of the radar sensor (signal emission surface), and the radar sensor does not face a fluorescent lamp.
  • Ensure the installation surface and wiring are secure to prevent sensor misalignment or intermittent warnings.
