Meet the Nissan Tiida Pulsar C13 BSD Radar Warning System for Blind Spot Detection — a smart safety upgrade designed to monitor rear-side activity and help prevent lane-change collisions. This system uses dual mmWave radars mounted on the rear bumper to detect moving objects in your blind spots and alert you in real time, making busy urban streets and highway merges safer.

Main Description

Two 24G/72G Hz mmWave radar sensors continuously monitor the area behind and to the side of your vehicle. When a moving object enters the set warning zone (3 to 10 meters behind the side), the system lights up an LED and delivers an audible cue to keep you informed. For lane-change scenarios, the same-side turn signal can flash, the LED can blink rapidly, or a three-tone prompt can sound, providing early warning to prevent risky maneuvers. The BSD system also integrates with other safety warnings such as LCA (Lane Change Assistance), AOA (Active Overtaking Warning), RCTA (Reverse Crossing Warning), and optional DOW (Door Opening Warning) for comprehensive awareness in parking and tight spaces.

Designed for Nissan Pulsar C13 (2014–present) and Nissan Tiida C13 (2015–present), this kit supports customized mirrors. If you send your original interior rearview mirror to the factory, engineers will tailor the laser warning light pattern to match your mirrors, at the same price. Two display formats are available: a lens display with the prompt light mounted on the lens or an in-car display shown on the triangular window inside the car for quick visibility.

Operational notes: radar signals cannot penetrate metal and can be interfered with by fluorescent lighting. Ensure the rear bumper is plastic, there is no metal interference directly in front of the radar sensor, and the radar emission surface is not facing fluorescent lamps. The system starts with ACC and adapts to speeds up to ±120 km/h to provide timely warnings.
