InterCyprus is committed to transparent, reliable, and customer-friendly delivery procedures. This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains where we ship, how we ship, estimated delivery times, and customer responsibilities.

This Policy applies to all purchases made on InterCyprus.com.


1. Shipping Areas

We ship only to selected reliable European regions to ensure smooth deliveries and avoid courier issues.

Shipping Exclusions (Important)

To ensure reliable delivery and prevent courier-related issues, we currently do NOT ship to these European destinations:

❌ France
❌ Belgium
❌ Switzerland
❌ Luxembourg
❌ Norway
❌ Iceland

These exclusions are due to unreliable couriers, high return rates, false delivery scans, difficult customs processes, and excessive chargeback activity.

Customers in blocked countries

Customers from these locations may still browse the website but cannot place orders for delivery.
EU customers may arrange pickup in Cyprus (Akis Express) by contacting us before ordering.
(Standard pickup fees apply.)

This complies with EU Geo-Blocking Regulation 2018/302, which allows limiting delivery areas while providing access to the store.


2. Shipping Methods

Cyprus:

– GAP Akis Express
– ACS Courier
– BoxNow (where available)

Europe:

– Postal networks
– International courier partners
– Fulfillment from our overseas suppliers

Shipping methods may vary by product and destination.


3. Shipping Fees

Cyprus:

  • Orders €5 or more → Free Shipping

  • Orders under €5 → €3 shipping fee

Europe:

Shipping fees vary by country and courier and are shown at checkout.


4. Delivery Times

Cyprus Deliveries:

  • From Cyprus warehouse stock: 1–2 business days

  • From European warehouses: 5–15 business days

EU Deliveries:

General estimate: 7–21 business days
Portugal: 10–25 business days

Delivery times depend on destination, customs clearance, and local couriers.
Peak seasons (Christmas, Easter, Back-to-School) may experience delays.


5. Heavy or Oversized Items

Some larger items may require pickup at:

InterCyprus Warehouse
Nisou Industrial Area (Halepianes), Cyprus

These items are excluded from standard delivery fees.


6. Undelivered Orders

Customers must provide complete and accurate shipping information.

For prepaid orders €20+:

If delivery exceeds 4 weeks, customers may receive:
➡️ 10% store credit (up to €20)

If undelivered after 30 days, the order may be refunded in accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU and our Refunds Policy.


7. International Shipping Responsibilities

For customers outside Cyprus, additional costs may apply:

  • customs duties

  • import taxes

  • local handling fees

InterCyprus is not responsible for delays caused by customs or import regulations.


8. Order Tracking

Tracking numbers are provided when available.

Orders can be tracked via:

  • the courier’s website

  • your InterCyprus order page

Some domestic shipments within Cyprus may not include tracking.


9. Damaged During Shipping

Inspect your order immediately upon delivery.

If an item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact sales@intercyprus.com within 48 hours.
We will arrange:

  • repair

  • replacement

  • or refund

as outlined in our Refunds, Returns & Warranties Policy.


10. Responsibility for Outbound Shipments

InterCyprus is responsible for your order until delivery, as required by EU consumer law.
Lost outbound parcels will be handled between InterCyprus and the courier.


11. Refused Deliveries & Unclaimed Parcels

If a customer:

  • refuses delivery,

  • enters an incomplete/incorrect address, or

  • fails to collect the parcel,

…the shipment is returned to InterCyprus.

Such cases are considered unclaimed shipments, not valid withdrawals.

We may deduct:

  • the original shipping cost, and

  • the return-to-sender fee

from any refund.

If the parcel is lost during the return trip, no refund will be issued because the item never reached us.
