Radar Warning and Blind Spot Detection System for Land Rover Range Rover Sport L320
Land Rover Range Rover Sport L320 BSD Radar Warning with Blind Spot Detection is a dedicated blind-spot monitoring system designed to enhance safety during lane changes and highway driving. Mounted on the rear bumper, two advanced mmwave radars (24G/72G Hz) actively scan the adjacent lanes to detect moving objects within 3 to 10 meters behind the vehicle. When a potential hazard enters the warning area, the system provides clear alerts through LEDs, sound prompts, and, depending on the installation, your vehicle’s turn signals to indicate a lane-change risk. This intuitive feedback helps you make safer decisions on busy roads and during overtaking maneuvers.
The system supports customization to suit your vehicle’s mirrors. If you send your original mirrors to the factory, engineers can tailor the laser warning light pattern to match your mirrors, with the price remaining the same. This makes the BSD integration seamless and visually cohesive with your Land Rover’s interior and exterior styling. Built specifically for the Range Rover Sport L320 model years 2006–2013, it offers reliable blind-spot coverage without intrusive or complicated installation.
Two mainstream display options are available:
- Lens display: the prompt light is installed on the lens itself for a clean, external look.
- In-car display: a warning light is shown on the triangular window inside the vehicle for immediate visibility.
Language support: On‑screen display language is English (OSD Language: English). This system is designed to integrate smoothly with your vehicle’s electronics and dashboard layout.
Benefits & Tips
- Safer lane changes on busy highways. Real-time BSD alerts help you anticipate vehicles in your blind spots, reducing the risk of side-swipe collisions during lane shifts.
- Enhanced awareness when reversing or exiting tight spaces. The rear-facing radar detects objects close to the sides as you maneuver, giving you extra time to react.
- Installation planning and maintenance tips. Ensure the rear bumper is plastic and avoid metal interference directly in front of the radar emission surface. Do not install the radar sensor facing fluorescent lights, and schedule calibration after fitment for optimal performance.
