Introducing the Chevrolet Suburban and GMC Yukon XL BSD Radar Warning System for 2021–2024 models. This advanced blind-spot detection system uses two mmWave radar sensors mounted on the rear bumper to monitor rear‑side traffic and help prevent risky lane changes.
With a detection range designed to alert you before a risk develops, the system warns when moving objects enter the rear blind zone. LED indicators light up to grab your attention, and when a vehicle or object enters the sensing area, the same-side turn signal can activate, the LED flashes rapidly, and a three-tone alert sounds to prompt a safe response. This proactive warning setup reduces the chances of missed signals in busy traffic and improves your overall awareness on the road.
Two mainstream display options offer flexible integration: one with the prompt light installed on the lens, and another that displays the warning inside the car on a triangular window. This versatility helps you choose the configuration that best suits your vehicle and driving style.
For Chevrolet Suburban GMT1YC 2021–present and GMC Yukon XL 2021–present, the BSD system is designed to fit with the factory look. It also supports customized mirrors for all car models. If you send the original mirrors to our factory, our engineers will customize the laser warning light pattern for your mirrors. However, the product price remains the same, and you only need to be responsible for shipping the mirrors and any possible customs duties.
Important installation notes: Radar signals cannot penetrate metal and can be interfered with by fluorescent lighting. Please confirm during installation: the rear bumper must be plastic, there must be no metal interference directly in front of the radar sensor (signal emission surface), and the radar sensor cannot be installed facing a fluorescent lamp.
