Introducing the GM245 Fuel Injector Rail Remover Tool and Seals Kit — a durable iron toolkit designed to simplify fuel injector service on GM engines and related vehicles. Built to withstand demanding workshop use, this kit helps you replace teflon seals and remove fuel rails without marring critical surfaces, delivering leak-free performance and lasting reliability.

Compatibility

  • Fits Holden Colorado 7 (2016)
  • Fits Subaru 2.0L / 2.4L turbo engines (2014–2019)
  • Fits General Motors 2.0L / 3.6L engines with Hitachi fuel injectors (2010–2017)
  • Fits GM 2.0L / 2.5L / 5.3L / 6.2L engines with Bosch, Continental Delphi fuel injectors (2012–2017)

Material & Build

  • Material: high-quality iron for durability, anti-corrosion properties, excellent wear resistance, and long-term reliability
  • OE references: EN-49245, EN-51105, EN-49248
  • Model Names: XLB-1179-BK / XLB-1080-BK
  • Origin: Mainland China

What’s in the kit

  • EN-49245: seal installation pilots (one per groove), a seal installer to drive the seal over the pilot, and a sizer to compress each seal to the correct dimension
  • EN-49248: Fuel Injector Rail Assembly Remover Tool
  • OEM references: EN-49245, EN-51105, 18683AA000, 6706

Benefits & Tips

  • Precise seal replacement: The two installation pilots ensure each Teflon seal seats cleanly in the injector groove, preventing leaks and injector damage during service.
  • Leak-free operation: The sizer confirms the correct seal size before installation, maintaining engine integrity over time.
  • Ready for modern injectors: For 2013-and-later Bosch, Continental, and Delphi injectors with larger tips, use the protector ramps from the EN-51105 Injector Seal Installer Adapter set in conjunction with the EN-49245 tools.

Installation steps

  • Cut off the old Teflon seal near the tip of the injector.
  • Place the seal installer guide (pilot cone) on the injector tip.
  • Slide the new seal onto the installer guide (pilot cone).
  • Use the seal installer to push the seal into the injector groove.
  • Use the seal sizer to compress the seal to the correct size.
  • Proceed with installation as directed — EN-49245 must be used to ensure correct seating and sizing.

Installation notes for the rail removal kit

  • The EN-49248 Rail Assembly Remover Tool is designed to remove the direct-injection fuel rail and injectors without causing damage; ensure the rail and injector are removed in a straight, controlled motion to protect the hardware.
  • Applications include 2007–2014 GM direct-injection engines (4.3L, 3.6L, 3.0L V6) and 2.5L/2.4L/2.0L GDI I-4 engines; for 5.3L or 6.2L engines, two sets may be required.

Warnings / reminders

  • EN-49245 must be used to install the seals correctly and to ensure the seal size is appropriate for leak-free operation.
  • 2013-and-newer injectors with larger tips may require the EN-51105 injector seal installer adapter ramp set when used with EN-49245.
  • For GM 5.3L or 6.2L configurations, you may need two sets to complete the service efficiently.
