Downstream Lambda O2 Sensor for Honda Pilot, Accord, Odyssey
This downstream lambda O2 sensor replaces the rear post-catalytic converter oxygen sensor on 3.5L and 3.7L V6 Honda and Acura models. It accurately measures oxygen levels in the exhaust after the catalytic converter, allowing the ECU to fine-tune the air-fuel ratio, restore smooth engine operation, and turn off related check-engine codes such as P0136–P0141.
Benefits & Tips
- Restores proper fuel trim and improves fuel economy once the faulty sensor is swapped.
- Install the new sensor while the exhaust is still warm; anti-seize on the threads (not on the sensor tip) makes future removal easier.
- Clear codes after installation and perform a short drive cycle so the ECU can relearn fuel trims quickly.
