Radar Warning System for Land Rover Freelander 2 LR2 with Blind Spot Detection, Aftermarket
Enhance safety on your Land Rover Freelander 2 LR2 (2007–2015) with the BSD Radar Warning System with Blind Spot Detection. This smart, aftermarket solution uses two mmwave radar sensors mounted on the rear bumper to monitor moving objects in your rear blind spots, alerting you before a lane change or merging maneuver becomes risky. When a vehicle or object enters the set warning area (3–10 meters behind the side), you’ll receive a clear warning through LED signals and audible prompts, helping prevent lane-change collisions and rear-end surprises. The system is designed to support safer driving in real-world scenarios—from highway merges to crowded city streets—by giving you timely, unambiguous alerts when visibility is limited.
Two main display methods offer flexible installation options to fit your preferences and your car’s aesthetics. You can choose a lens display with the prompt light integrated on the lens, or opt for an in-car display where a warning light appears on the triangular window inside the vehicle. For those who want a tailored look, the product supports customization of the laser warning light pattern when original mirrors are sent to the factory—the service is offered with the same price, simply covering shipping and any applicable duties.
The system is part of a broader lane-change and blind-spot safety suite, including lane-change assistance (LCA), BSD blind-spot monitoring, AOA active overtaking warnings, and B-pillar blind-spot following alerts. It complements your driving awareness, especially during quick lane changes, merging, or while navigating busy traffic conditions.
Language support: English (OSD Language).
Benefits & Tips
- Improve lane-change safety by receiving timely blind-spot alerts as you signal and merge on highways or busy urban roads.
- Enhance awareness during parking and reversing, reducing the risk of unseen vehicle movements lurking in your blind spots.
- Consider the customization option if you want a tailored warning light pattern on your mirrors—our engineers can adapt the laser pattern to match your original mirrors while keeping the price unchanged.
