Warnings & reminders
- Due to interference from magnetic objects in a vehicle or metal surroundings, the compass may show deviation. Use the included adjustment tool to correct alignment.
- North-south deviation adjustment: Park the vehicle north-south, observe the red indicator, insert the adjustment piece into the north-south adjustment hole, and rotate to align the north with the red indicator on the dial.
- East-west deviation adjustment: Park the vehicle east-west, insert the adjustment key piece into the adjustment hole, and rotate to align the east with the red scale. Repeat as needed for improved accuracy.
- Tilt of the compass is normal and does not affect its operation. The compass determines direction based on the red tick mark.
