Its high-precision probe detects water contamination that lowers boiling point and risks brake failure, giving a clear LCD reading with three-color backlight plus sound and light alarm when levels exceed safe limits.
Auto power-off and low-battery indication conserve the two AAA batteries (not included). A built-in flashlight aids work in dim engine bays, while data-hold freezes the last reading for easy reference.
Practical tips
- Clean the metal probe before each test, immerse fully for three seconds, then wait for the display to stabilize.
- After testing one fluid type, rinse the probe thoroughly to prevent cross-contamination.
