Factory brackets often suffer from corrosion, bent arms, or stripped mounting points after repeated wheel removals. This replacement unit restores structural rigidity around the rear chassis, providing a stable anchor point for standard spare tires and compatible recovery winches. As a direct OE alternative, it aligns with original bolt patterns for straightforward installation, eliminating guesswork and restoring proper load distribution for daily commercial routes or light expedition use.

Durability & Installation Tips

Remove surface rust and debris from all contact patches with a wire brush prior to fitting to guarantee full metal-to-metal seating and long-term corrosion resistance.

Progressively tighten all fasteners in a star pattern to the vehicle manufacturer’s torque specifications, preventing uneven stress on the sheet metal brackets.

Confirm your chassis configuration supports either front-wheel or rear-wheel drive layouts before finalizing the mount to avoid clearance interference with suspension components.

Technical Specifications

Model Compatibility: Ford Transit Custom (2012+), Ford Transit MK8 (2014+)

OEM Cross-Reference Numbers: 1763880, 1898025, 237789, BK211K353AC, BK21-1K353-AC, BK21-1402-AA, BK211402AA

Net Weight: 0.45 kg

Application Focus: Load-bearing underfloor reinforcement for spare tire retention and accessory mounting

Origin: Mainland China

Package includes:

1 x Spare Wheel Carrier Mounting Plate

Operational Reminders

Always re-check mounting hardware after the initial 100 km of operation, as vibration may require minor retightening.
