Throttle Linkage Kit For Weber Dellorto Jenvey IDA Carburetor With Cable
Gain snappy throttle response without replacing your entire intake system. This SherryBerg top mount single cable kit links your foot controls directly to Weber, Dell’Orto, and Jenvey injection throttle bodies fitted with IDA plates ranging from 36mm to 55mm. You will feel instant airflow adjustment the moment you press the pedal, smoothing out those hesitant gaps typical in engine swaps. The front-mounted layout keeps the operating cable neatly tucked along the firewall while staying accessible for quick tuning tweaks. Just remember this bracket connects exclusively to modern electric throttle bodies, not traditional fuel carburetors.
Benefits & Tips
- Align mounts precisely: Secure the bracket flat against your dash panel before tightening bolts to prevent the cable from twisting during acceleration.
- Lubricate pivot points lightly: Apply a drop of silicone spray to the linkage joints monthly so the throttle plate glides back and forth without sticking.
- Check slack periodically: Inspect the single cable routing every few thousand miles to avoid rubbing against vibrating engine brackets.
