Carburetor 30 Pict-1 With Electric Choke For VW Beetle

Bring your vintage Volkswagen back to life with a replacement that matches the original engineering you remember. This 30 PICT-1 carburetor replaces the discontinued Solex units. It restores your 1500cc Type 1 engine with complete confidence. We designed this modern reproduction to clear alternators on late model setups while preserving the classic fuel delivery behavior. You will notice how quickly it bolts into place and how predictably it responds to standard adjustments.

The integrated 6-volt electric choke eliminates fumbling with pulleys during cold mornings. An electronic fuel cut-off solenoid automatically stops flow when you switch the ignition, preventing frustrating engine run-on. These carbs are engineered true to the originals. Your existing factory workshop manuals and tuning guides stay fully compatible. You can fine-tune idle speeds and main jets with familiar tools to capture that authentic cruise feel.

Benefits & Tips

• Old-school tuning: Follow your factory service manual to dial in the mixture screws for smooth idle and crisp throttle feedback.
