The billet aluminum housing dissipates heat rapidly while maintaining structural rigidity during extended sessions. A black HEI-style male cap routes wires cleanly and shields connections from engine bay grime. You will feel immediate throttle responsiveness once the magnetic trigger pairs with your ignition control system.

This unit installs directly onto the front mounting pad using a slip collar that slides into position without stressing internal gears. The magnetic trigger outputs a sharp signal that replaces fragile breaker points with reliable digital consistency. Mechanical advance weights move freely to optimize torque across low RPM ranges and highway cruise speeds. Your V8 runs smoother and fuels more efficiently when the timing curve stays predictable.

Benefits & Practical Tips

Ignition Setup: Wire a compatible electronic ignition box to the magnetic trigger coil for uninterrupted spark generation.

Cable Routing: Secure the two-wire harness away from primary HT cables to eliminate false triggering during hard acceleration.

First Drive Routine: Limit sustained high RPM for the initial twenty minutes so the centrifugal weights seat correctly.

Technical Specifications

Housing Construction: Durable billet aluminum machined with a natural industrial finish.

Cap Configuration: Standard male profile compatible with HEI style distribution systems.

Timing Mechanics: Electronic magnetic trigger paired with adjustable mechanical advance.

Distributor Gear: Heat-treated melonized steel crafted for standard engine rotation direction.

Fitness Profile: Front placement design featuring an integrated slip collar for GM sb and bb blocks.

Package Includes

One SherryBerg 2-wire magnetic distributor.

Important Reminders

An external ignition box is mandatory to power this magnetic assembly.
