Gear Shift Knob LED ABS For BMW 1 Series E81 E82 E87 E88
Tailored specifically for the BMW 1 Series (E81, E82, E87, E88), this lighted gear shifter replaces your factory lever with a modern design that improves ergonomic grip and updates your cockpit aesthetics. Constructed from impact-resistant ABS polymer, the knob integrates crisp LED illumination that triggers upon shifting, providing a clear visual reference in low-light conditions. Available in silver, black, or carbon fiber pattern finishes, it seamlessly complements contemporary interior trim while maintaining professional durability.
BMW wiring architectures differ significantly even within the same chassis generation. To prevent electrical incompatibility, this unit requires exact trim matching. When completing your purchase, please confirm your specific model year and the layout of your manual/sport (M/S) selection switches—plus or minus orientation matters. Our team cross-references this detail to dispatch the precisely wired variant for direct connector alignment.
Benefits & Practical Tips
- The controlled LED array reduces eye strain during evening drives while clearly indicating active gear engagement.
- ABS construction resists heat deformation and maintains its contoured handle diameter through years of regular shifts.
- Verify your centre console’s M/S toggle orientation before purchasing to guarantee plug-and-play connectivity.
