A stiff latch or unresponsive button interrupts daily routines, especially when you need quick access to essentials carried in the back.

This replacement restores the tactile clicking and secure closure you expect. The build combines a durable outside handle with a complete lock assembly for the tailgate, helping you reclaim peace of mind each time you park.

Precision fitment depends on matching the original part code on your unit. You will recognize this option immediately if your current listing shows 81820Q5000, 81820-Q5000, 81820Q6000, or 81820-Q6000. Spaced variations like 81820 Q5000 correspond equally, ensuring compatibility across different label formats used over the production run.

Upgrading from the worn component solves misalignment issues that can prevent the trunk from latching fully. Fresh internal mechanisms reduce wear-related resistance, making the release action smoother. Your vehicle returns to its standard locking behavior without aftermarket guesswork.

Benefits & Tips

Verify Part Numbers: Double-check the 81820 prefix codes against your door jamb sticker or existing hardware to guarantee a perfect replacement.

Alignment Check: After installing the new block and handle, cycle the lock a few times to confirm the striker engages cleanly without gaps.

Secure Storage: Keep the removed part handy until you verify the new lock functions correctly with your car's security system.

Specifications

Brand: Manufactured by VUCEA using established automotive standards.

Construction: Built with an outside handle and lock assembly for the tailgate.

Fitment: Compatible with Kia Seltos cars from 2019 to 2023.

Replacements: Drops in for OEM codes 81820Q5000, 81820 Q5000, 81820-Q5000, 81820Q6000, 81820 Q6000, and 81820-Q6000.

Origin: Made in Mainland China.

All electronic and mechanical equipment, devices and machines sold by InterCyprus to EU countries are CE certified and carry a two year warranty.
Restoring reliable cargo access at intercyprus.com — supporting your vehicle maintenance needs for over two decades.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0530/0604/1274/files/Sd52cb564529447d0a272f0cc7a2fd2a9k.webp?v=1791099388
https://www.intercyprus.com/products/rear-trunk-lock-boot-release-switch-trunk-switch-tailgate-opening-button-for-2019-2023-kia-seltos-81820q5000-81820-q5000
