It uses thermal printing technology, so no ink or toner is needed. The device ships with tape for 2 x 1.18 inch labels/roll and includes a built-in rechargeable battery for cord-free use. Print speed is 20 pages per minute at up to 203 dpi resolution. Auto label-size detection speeds up workflows, and the app offers more than 30 fonts, 100 borders, and 1500 symbols to customize labels. The printer supports iOS and Android via the NIIMBOT app; it is not compatible with iPad, and PC printing requires a USB driver from the Niimbot official site.
