This 2 in 1 pH and chlorine meter is your portable solution for monitoring water quality in pools and aquariums. With an analog display, it integrates pH testing and chlorine (Cl2) testing in a single, easy-to-use unit. Constructed from durable plastic with a metal probe, it’s built for regular use around wet environments. A 1.5V AA alkaline battery is required (not included) to power the device. Calibration uses a 1.5 ppm chlorine solution to align readings with established test methods; if you’re unsure about the chlorine level, you can verify calibration with a traditional test strip. After you’ve calibrated a pool, recalibration is only needed if you switch to a different water source or pool.

Benefits & Tips

  • Quick, on-site water checks for pools and aquariums—keep pH and chlorine within safe, comfortable ranges without multiple gadgets.
  • Calibrate accurately using a 1.5 ppm chlorine solution; if you’re not sure about the chlorine point, cross-check with a classic test strip for peace of mind.
  • Maintain recommended ranges: chlorine 1.2–1.7 ppm and pH 7.2–7.8 for pools and spa water, helping protect skin, eyes, and equipment while keeping sanitizers effective.

Warnings/Reminders

  • You need to prepare a 1.5 PPM chlorine solution in the pool water for calibration.
  • If you’re unsure whether the chlorine content is 1.5 PPM or you cannot locate a calibration point, use a traditional test strip to verify.
  • After calibrating a pool, there is no need to recalibrate unless you change the pool water or switch to measuring a different pool.
  • Usage guidance: Before first use, adjust the device to match your pool or spa water by following the instructions—test with a classic liquid kit, record the chlorine reading, and set the adjustment point before testing again.
