Warnings / reminders

• The Speed Sensor is usually mounted on the front sprocket cover; the 3-pole black speed sensor coupler is typically 20–40 cm (8”–16”) away from the sensor.
• Separate the Speed Sensor connector, then plug in both the male and female 3-pole GFYSHIP harness connectors. Ensure the connectors are fully seated.
• Find the wire from the Signal generator (CKP pickup). If unsure, consult your motorcycle’s Service Manual or your dealer.
• Connect the Green wire to the CKP signal wire using the Red wire tap connector supplied. The green wire is connected to the crankshaft sensor signal line.
• Setup after installation: When ignition is turned on, the display counts backwards (6 to 1) indicating the memory is clear. Raise the rear wheel, start the engine in Neutral, and follow the learning prompts on screen (e.g., learning mode indicated by the display). If you cannot use a center stand, perform setup on a flat, straight road with light traffic.
