Warnings / Reminders
Installation requires locating the RED 4-pole diagnostic DLC near the ECU box. After installation, the unit must learn each gear. Follow these steps: ignition on, memory clears (display counts down from 6 to 1); raise the rear wheel, start in Neutral; the display will show L to begin learning; select first gear and accelerate slowly; the display will flash as it learns each gear. Repeat the process through gears 2–6 until the indicator shows the current gear steadily. For best results, perform the learning with the bike safely supported and in a controlled environment.
