These short paddles often force your hands to stretch too far during quick trips.

The aluminum extenders lengthen your reach so you tap the plus or minus button without breaking your grip. They attach to your factory steering wheel using heavy-duty double-sided tape. You gain cleaner gear shifts for highway merges or city cruising without replacing expensive OEM parts.

Always wipe the steering wheel surface clean and let it dry completely before applying the strips. Run a lighter or small blower over the adhesive pad for a few seconds to boost immediate stickiness. Press the new lever firmly until it sits flush with the surrounding plastic.

Benefits & Practical Tips

  • Faster Gear Selection: Extend your finger reach to downshift smoothly around tight roundabouts.
  • Stronger Adhesion: Heat the tape lightly before mounting to protect against summer dashboard warmth and winter cold.
  • Simple Alignment: Position the extension while checking that it lines up perfectly with the original DSG button.

Important Reminders

Check your steering wheel layout before purchasing. These bars only mount correctly on vehicles that already display standard DSG plus and minus paddles. Do not force installation on incompatible dashboards to avoid damaging the controls.
