The High Precision Network Cable Tester HT812A is a compact detector for RJ45, RJ11, RJ12 and Cat5 UTP LAN cables, built to identify shorts, opens, crossed pairs and other wiring faults quickly.

Plug the main tester and the remote tester together; the main unit’s LEDs light sequentially from 1 to G to confirm wiring order. It automatically runs all tests, checks continuity, and displays results via an LED status display. Features include slow and fast test modes, anti-scald design, a low battery indicator, and automatic shutdown. Its small size and light weight (about 87 g) make it easy to carry in a toolkit or field bag. It supports 8P6P4P2P/shielded wire measurement.
