Failed units often crack and drop straight into your cylinders. This traps debris and destroys pistons overnight. These blanking plates shut down that failure path completely. You replace the fragile vents with rigid aluminum caps strengthened by glass fibre. The composite expands and contracts alongside your original intake manifold. Viton sealing rings and gaskets resist harsh oils and freezing winter starts. Your engine stays sealed and leak-free under heavy loads.

Benefits & Tips

Avoid invasive teardowns: Plugging the flap openings saves you from removing heavy manifolds.

Confirm your OEM numbers: Match these plate diameters to your factory intake ports before fitting.

Bolt directly into place: The design swaps straight over existing mounts without extra fabrication.

Product Specifications

Construction Heavy-duty aluminum casing bonded with glass fibre for maximum rigidity.

Sealing components Viton o-rings paired with precision-cut oblong and round gaskets.

Dimensions 22-millimetre outer diameter tailored for pre-2003 smaller housing setups.

Application range Engineered for BMW three, five, seven series and x3 x5 diesel platforms carrying m47 or m57 motors.

Package Includes

Each shipment contains six blanking plates, six oblong gaskets, six standard round gaskets, and one oversized round gasket for direct mounting.

Important Reminders

Use reference charts cautiously: Verify your exact chassis code rather than relying solely on model years.

Account for manual variance: Hand-taken measurements may show a 1 to 2 centimetre spread.

Note display differences: Monitor brightness settings sometimes alter the perceived metal tone versus reality.

All electronic and mechanical equipment, devices and machines sold by InterCyprus to EU countries are CE certified and carry a two year warranty.

Trusted tuning solutions and honest service delivered to buyers across Europe at intercyprus.com since 2002.

This straightforward upgrade keeps your turbocharged engine breathing clean air mile after mile.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0530/0604/1274/files/S3ddf1e11852d4d5cb346494e216720231.webp?v=1792089785
https://www.intercyprus.com/products/6pcs-22mm-swirl-flap-blanking-plates-with-intake-manifold-gasket-seal-for-bmw-m47-m57-e39-e87-e46-e90-e39-e60-x3-6-cylinder
