When these factory vanes shear off, they frequently tumble straight into the combustion chamber. Installing these aluminium blanks keeps both passages open at all times. You retain normal fuel consumption and power while eliminating dangerous debris ingestion. The reinforced end caps expand and contract alongside your original manifold. Thick Viton O-rings resist extreme heat and chemical exposure for years of reliable sealing.
Benefits & Tips

Direct Compatibility: Select the precise 22mm or 33mm profile to mount cleanly onto any M47 or M57 inlet runner.

Steady Airflow: Clearing out the moving vanes removes intake dead spots for smoother throttle response.

Leak Prevention: Polish the mounting faces before installing the included fibreglass gaskets to guarantee a pressure-tight joint.

Product Specifications

Base Material: High-strength aluminium blended with glass fibre reinforcement

Blind Diameter: Accurate 22mm and 33mm outer rings

Engine Family: BMW M47 and M57 inline-six diesel units

Chassis Fitment: E39, E46, E87, E90, E60, and E83 X3 variants

Seal Makeup: Industrial Viton rings built to withstand oil baths and rapid thermal cycling

Manufacturing Test: Dimensionally verified for consistent thermal expansion matching

Package includes:

6x Swirl Flap Blanking Plates

6x Oblong Interface Gaskets

6x Round Interface Gaskets

1x Heavy Duty Large Round Gasket

Safety Reminders

Never leave a fractured vane inside the intake manifold.
