The Alpha MK2 uses a robust 20W laser module with 2nd-gen COS technology to shrink the spot size by about 40%, delivering sharper lines and more intricate designs (0.12×0.15 mm at 100% power). It can engrave on stainless steel with impressive color depth (500+ colors) and cut through pine wood up to 15 mm and acrylic up to 8 mm in a single pass. For more ambitious work, multiple passes can reach around 25 mm wood and 35 mm acrylic. The system can also precisely cut stainless steel to a fine tolerance, thanks to its compressed spot laser capabilities.

What makes it especially practical is offline operation. The 3.5" capacitive touchscreen runs AlgoOS, letting you prepare, start, and monitor jobs without a computer. When you do want a PC workflow, it’s compatible with LightBurn, LaserGRBL, and the AlgoLaser APP, plus it supports USB Disk for offline batch processing. Connectivity is flexible with USB Cable, WiFi (2.4G & 5G), and USB-C, and it accepts a wide range of file formats including jpg, svg, png, bmp, G-code, and dwg.

Safety and reliability are built in. The Alpha MK2 includes seven safety functions such as Laser Emission Protection, Safety Lock, Offset/Tilt Detection and Protection, USB Connection Detection and Protection, Voltage and Current Safety Control, and an Emergency Stop Button.
