Always note the plate will not fit engines outside the specified size range.

Important operating notes: in 2011 the 16V DOHC was updated to 8V Euro5 (DV-6C/DV-6). This plate will not fit those newer configurations that use a water‑cooled aluminium housing. The Electronic Motor Load (EML) light can illuminate for reasons unrelated to the plate and may be affected by other engine or sensor issues that are not resolved by blocking the EGR.

Installation is designed to be quick: loosen the screws, place the blanking plate with the gasket, then re‑tighten. This product is sold without installation instructions. For DIY enthusiasts, it’s possible to install, but professional installation is strongly recommended and installation guidance is not provided.
