This intelligent unit eliminates compatibility headaches by handling signal conversion between serial ports and Wiegand interfaces automatically. You simply connect your devices, and the converter detects the data flow direction without needing manual configuration. Whether you are integrating a fingerprint reader with a PC or linking a card scanner to an old controller, this adapter ensures smooth communication across your security network.

The converter features a high-performance MCU chip engineered for strong anti-interference protection, keeping your data transmissions stable even in electrically busy environments. A built-in watchdog circuit constantly monitors the unit's status and triggers an automatic reboot if an operational anomaly occurs. This self-healing capability minimizes downtime and ensures reliable long-term performance. The device supports standard WG26 and WG34 protocols while accommodating both hexadecimal codes and clean ASCII text formats for easy software integration.

Benefits & Practical Usage Tips

Bidirectional Flexibility: Switch functions effortlessly; convert Wiegand input from face recognition devices into RS232 output for your central database, or route RS232 commands directly into Wiegand-access controlled doors.

Effortless Data Retrieval: Connect barcode scanners or ID card readers to a PC serial port and monitor access events in real-time using standard serial debugging software or super terminals.

Friendly Data Formatting: The converter outputs clear 10-bit ASCII strings (such as "0009019418") that access control software accepts and processes accurately without complex parsing adjustments.

Product Specifications

Model Number: HDC09-WG-232 produced by FENGLIANSECURITY.

Functionality: Full bidirectional conversion between Wiegand and RS232 signals with automatic transmission direction detection.

RS232 Interface: Optimized for 9600 baud rate, 8 data bits, and 1 stop bit connections.

Wiegand Protocols: Supports WG26 and WG34 formats; capable of handling 16Hex input/output and ASCII text modes.

Power Requirements: Operates safely within a 9-15V voltage range drawing 20mA to 50mA current.

System Compatibility: Designed for use with access control panels, IC/ID card readers, barcode scanners, fingerprint machines, and facial recognition instruments.

Reliability Features: Incorporates advanced anti-interference technology and an automatic reboot watchdog circuit for uninterrupted operation.

Package includes:

RS232 To Wiegand Bidirectional Converter (Model: HDC09-WG-232).

All electronic and mechanical equipment, devices and machines sold by InterCyprus to EU countries are CE certified and carry a two year warranty.

When you need security components that perform reliably day one, order from the provider that has shipped top-rated access control solutions to confident buyers throughout Europe since 2002.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0530/0604/1274/files/Se9e3784b06e44d3ba222b15d85d4012da.webp?v=1790961058
https://www.intercyprus.com/es/products/rs232-barcode-reader-male-female-serial-port-rs232-to-wiegand-wg26-34-232
