Aeolos Cyprus Travel Bureau was founded as a General Agency in 1933. Thirteen years later, on June 1, 1946, AEOLOS became the very first Travel Agency of the island, even before Cyprus had a National Carrier of its own. On 1st June, 1961 Aeolos was appointed General Sales Agent for Swissair, and since then has gone from strength to strength.
